Park Lane Hotel & Suites
Park Lane Hotel and Suites chose Sandcastle to do an extensive remodel of 153 hotel rooms and 204 bathrooms. Sandcastle was also chosen later that year to remodel the lobby and breakfast area.
“I hired Sandcastle Constructors to complete a renovation of the Park Lane Hotel in late 2008-early 2009. The project consisted of re-finishing 153 hotel rooms and the corresponding 204 bathrooms. The rooms and bathes were split between tow buildings and we worked on one building at a time. Additional work included the resizing of the capacity of a troubled roof drain system.
Sandcastle performed all of this work ahead of the expedited schedule while maintaining all specifications and quality standards. While working on one building they were very mindful of guest staying in the other. The job site was always clean and orderly. Overall, they represented themselves and worked in a very organized and professional manner.
I highly recommend working with Sandcastle Constructors for any of your construction needs.”
Southpaw Pet Resort
In 2010 Stuart and Brecken engaged Sandcastle to build there state of the art Pet Resort. The facility consisted of a 2500 sqft clear span training facility in addition to private overnight indoor-outdoor kennels.
“Dear Sandcastle Team,
Where can we begin to thank you for a job so very well done? From day 1 to the completion of this project, we have have been so impressed by your support, advice, attention to detail, and fine quality of work. We could not be happier with the finished product and continued support, and we really look forward to working with you again on Phase 2. Thank you for all your hard work!”

Indigo Run River Club
Andre and Estelle De Bruin first hired Sandcastle Constructors to build a dock and seawall for their waterfront property in Indigo Run’s River Club. They were so impressed with the quality of workmanship, they chose the company to build their 4,600-square-foot Tuscan-style home using an innovative material known as autoclaved aerated concrete (AAC).
“We wanted the interior of the house to have a similar southwest flavour as our home in Santa Fe, so we invited Ellis and Tommy Smith to come out and see it for themselves. They took the time and trouble to meet with our builder and examine the types of materials we used.”“Even though we were often in Santa Fe, they did a great job communicating with us. Rick (Harrington) sent us photographs frequently so we were able to see the process that was being made on our home. Construction is never easy and it doesn’t go without problems, but they resolved whatever things came up. We were quite happy in the end. If you’re looking for a high-end builder, I would strongly recommend Sandcastle Constructors.”
Group 3 Architecture
Well- known Hilton Head Island architect Rick Clanton, of Group 3 Architecture, has worked with Sandcastle Constructors on numerous custom homes in the Lowcountry.
“Our jobs are generally complicated with a lot of interrelated details. They’re not easy to execute. Sandcastle Constructors can build whatever we can draw. They are one of the most experienced construction companies in the area. They understand plans and they follow them, which makes our job easier. They think about what needs to be done in the months to come rather than just day by day. And they keep a very clean job site. That’s unusual for a constructor. We recommend them all the time to our clients and other architects. We’ve found them to be very competitive. Every time we’ve had them bid work, they’ve come in lower or a fraction of a percent above the low bidder.”
